Thank you for your comment. Since I don't know how the HOA at Ivey Chase is structured it would not be fair for me to comment on it. I am however going to forward your comment to Touchstone. In the past I have always found them to be responsive and address concerns of the residents of their communities.

I live in Ivey Chase in Dacula, GA. They make lovely homes, that is for sure...but in my opinion they do not manage the Homeowner Associations well, while under their control. Ivey Chase is hoping and praying they can leave builder HOA control...Touchstone doesn't appear to care or just can't provide the level of input homeowners would like to have in their community.

Our subdivision has many homes that do not keep their landscaping up and our management company is slow to do anything, if anything about it (Community Management Associates, Atlanta). We wanted a new management company but Touchstone refused. - even in architectural control - people are just doing what they want when they want and there are no consequences, Touchstone does not respond to homeowner concerns regarding their amenities (non-resident use, upkeep, changes, etc.). It took gun shots at our basketball courts to have the goals removed - after two years of problems with large groups of kids causing problems there. We haven't had our official 2008 HOA meeting so we were never given a final 2008 budget. Forget askign for a budget with line by line items...they refuse to provide them...not to mention we have quite a few homes that have not paid their HOA fees due to shoddy management and lack of concern on Touchstone's part.

It is really a shame...such nice homes and they leave homeowners feeling as if they bought into a community run by builders who don't care about the people who live there. Personally, I can't wait to see this builder finish up and move on to the next community so we can make sure our property values stay what they should be...Touchstone doesn't care.
