I guess the Board of Commissioners didn't hear that during the citizens committee meetings the voting public stated time and time again that they wanted choice. You would have thought they would have heard it when they paid $131,000 of our tax dollars for a study and public meetings where R W Beck was told time and time again that the citizens of Gwinnett County wanted choice. The only thing left to do is RECALL THE DEAF BASTARDS!

Well, I guess they have come up with a solution, 5 districts one hauler each and now about $80 million in lawsuits.

It's only monopoly money and the entire BOC got a get out jail free pass for letting millions upon millions to be mismanaged in the late past and still to come, on account of these lawsuits, with everybody pointing the finger at someone else.

I have chastised our BOC in the past telling them that we were fast following the example of Fulton, Clayton, perhaps Dekalb.
I was at a business Luunch in Forest Park recently, and heard the new Supt of Schools for Clayton Speak,

Our county ought to be careful now not only that they are turning our county in the aforementioned counties, but further look out cause you will be replaced with guy like that!

the problem is these people live in their little sheltered nucleous.they have no regard of the people of gwinnett county.they should be focus on how to better the county.the three main issues should be: police, fire and rescue and education.if they could learn to manage those things, they will have come along way.the rest of it is fluff.the way it should be handle is a county referendum.these people don't listen to the voice of the people.we don't need anymore bright ideas from them.
state law says that unless county is going to pick up our trash, they cannot tell us who we can or cannot use as our trash hauler.i don't think that state law has changed.so here we go again, more wasteful spending.
i say get rid of ALLLLLLL of the people on the board.it's about money,it's always about money.i was born at night but not last night.
now if they want to charge us five dollars a month i say go for it.to them it is all about kick backs to them. they might as well tell us what kind of car we should be driving.if they want us to use thier trash company, let them pay for it.they should not be able to spend the i make.i think that is call tierney.not in america.

The results I predict will closley mirror the results of Mike B. "blue ribbon" panel, which from any feedback I recieved was said tobe ignored by the remainder of the BOC.

There was never a report submitted to the panelists, to my knowledge at least, by Mr. Royal (chairman) summarizing exactly what was presented to the Board in a meeting to take place. I understood he was supposed to "review" the findings with the BOC.

The request for proposals on this subject was issued before the panel was engaged, the panel was never told of its existence, and our county taxpayers paid over $100,000 for this seemingly redundant process.
