Since there is a top ten list for virtually every imaginable category, I thought it would be interesting to give you my top ten list for Loving Atlanta Living in the spring.

1. Everything is starting to come to life. The dogwood trees and azaleas are full of buds and getting ready to come into full bloom along with the lawns that have been dormant for the winter are beginning to turn green.
2. Neighbors are getting together for cookouts, fellowship and a cold beverage.
3. The longer days seem to bring people outside. Leisurely walks through the neighborhoods or parks aren’t lonely as there are numerous people out getting a little more exercise.
4. More and more joggers are out training for the Peachtree Road Race.
5. Golf is much more enjoyable with the warmer temperatures.
6.  Atlanta Braves baseball is back in full swing. Spring training has started and the regular season is just around the corner.
7. The spring NASCAR race at Atlanta International Raceway will help everyone who needs their racing fix in person.
8. The Atlanta Thrashers are making a playoff run.
9. Everyone gets a good laugh out of the Atlanta Falcons inefficiency in the NFL draft.
10. The University of Georgia has brought in another top ten recruiting class.

What are your thoughts?

I enjoyed the trees in the area.

What about our beautiful mountains. Nothing better in the spring and fall. We are also within 4 hours of some great beaches.

You could also add in that the theme parks are getting into full swing. You’ve got Six Flags, White Water, and Lake Lanier Islands all handy.

Good to see you’ve got a sports-centric top 10. I got my Thrashers playoff tickets ordered yesterday! Believe in Blueland!

That’s too much sports for me…
